The public bank advised customers to update their KYC before the end of August if their accounts are due for an update as of March 31, 2022, in a tweet.
The bank warned that failure to do so would result in limitations on how the customer’s account might be used.
The message reads, “All consumers must update their KYC in accordance with RBI regulations. Please get in touch with your base branch if your account has become due for KYC updating as of 31.03.2022 so that it can be updated by 31.08.2022. Non-updating could result in limitations on how you can use your account.”
