Allu Arjun recently visited New York, where he participated in the India Day march, one of the most well-known yearly gatherings of the Indian diaspora in the US. Allu uploaded videos celebrating India’s 75th anniversary of independence on Sunday.
Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy attended the procession where the actor received the honour of serving as grand marshal. “It was an honour to be the grand marshal at the India Day parade in New York,” Allu wrote on Instagram Stories while posting a video of himself waving the national flag during the march. In the two videos he released, the actor, dressed in white, could be seen waving to admirers who were shouting for and taking pictures of the celebrity. Sneha accompanied Allu on an open-top vehicle while she was dressed in yellow for the India Day parade.
Allu could be seen on LED screens at Times Square in New York in some footage posted on fan pages. After seeing the actor on the screens, his supporters shouted for him, many of whom were dressed in traditional Indian garb. Prior to the traditional India Day celebration on August 19, Allu and Sneha were sighted at the New York airport. He had also uploaded a snapshot from New York to Instagram Stories.
