Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, cannot be stopped. He is doing it for pleasure this year, shattering world records. After 88 innings, Babar Azam broke Hashim Amla’s record for the most runs in ODIs during Tuesday’s first match against the Netherlands. Babar, who had trouble getting going at the beginning of his innings, masterfully changed gears to record yet another outstanding half-century. Babar was poised to score a hundred when he made a mistake, ending his innings at 74. The talented right-hander has already amassed 4516 runs, averaging 59.42 over 88 innings. Amla played the exact number of innings and finished with 4473 runs.
