Sidharth Malhotra finally admitted on Koffee With Karan that he was dating Kiara Advani after much persuading and prodding from the host Karan Johar… or did he? With all the back and forth we just witnessed, we are still a little perplexed. In a clip from an earlier edition of the popular chat show, now in its seventh season, Kiara acknowledged that she and Sidharth were “more than simply close friends,” and Karan got Sidharth to respond to it.
If her relationship with Sidharth is different from the violent one her character Preeti shared with Kabir in the film, Karan questioned her about it in the Kiara episode, where she appeared alongside her Kabir Singh co-star Shahid Kapoor. She grinned as she took note of Karan’s attempts to get an answer from her.
When Kiara said she is neither refusing nor accepting romances, Karan remarked that it is “so last season” to do so. Finally, she declared that she and Sidharth Malhotra were “more than close friends.” When asked if she was considering marriage, she replied that she did, but she wouldn’t discuss her intentions on Koffee With Karan.
Sidharth questioned, “Kyu itna pareshan kia aapne Karan usko (Why did you ask her so many questions),” after having just observed the interview. Sidharth responded, “You are set! ” after Karan stated that he had determined what he would do at the wedding. Let us also,” he said, raising his eyebrows in anticipation of Sidharth finally declaring their relationship to be official. Finally, he did say, “Karan, let’s see. Everyone wants to work hard and have a fulfilling future and life. It’s good to know we have your approval. Sidharth was threatened by Karan that if he didn’t receive an invitation to his wedding, he would hit him. He has my word that that won’t happen, said Sidharth.
