According to state television, China’s President Xi Jinping visited an exhibition in Beijing on Tuesday, as per Reuters. Since returning to China from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in the middle of September, this is Xi Jinping’s first appearance in public.
Following his return to China from the meeting of the regional security organisation, rumours on social media started to circulate that Xi Jinping had been deposed by a military coup.
