On Monday, the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies increased by 0.42 percent from the previous day to reach $921.01 billion. However, at the time this piece was being written, the overall volume of the cryptocurrency market had fallen by 99.93% to $674281.39 (1030 IST).
The price of Bitcoin (BTC) remained above $19,000, rising by 0.49 percent, while the price of Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin’s nearest rival, increased by 1.50 percent over the previous day to reach $1,305.09. At the time of writing, trading in other altcoins like Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), and Polkadot (DOT) showed just slight gains. However, the value of cryptocurrencies like XRP (XRP) and Stellar (XLM) dropped.
In terms of meme coins, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu were trading lower over the past day, falling by 0.14 percent and 0.34 percent, respectively.
Mixed trends were seen in metaverse coins. As of the time of writing, The Sandbox (SAND) was up 0.95 percent, while other coins such as Decentraland (MANA) and Axie Infinity (AXS) were down 0.55 percent and 0.06 percent from the previous day.
