In a recent interview, George Clooney, 61, and Julia Roberts, 54, explained to fans why they never contemplated dating each other despite having known and collaborated for many years. The actor and the actress acknowledged that it never occurred to them because they always thought of one other as pals and because they were both in relationships at the time they were working on a project together. “To not go out with each other? Following their discussion of being older parents, George and Julia made comments about dating each other. Earlier this week, the mother and father went on the Today Show to promote their movie. George, the father of 5-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, quipped that he will be relieved to be “out of it” when his daughter is old enough to date. When my daughter starts dating, “I kind of like the concept of being sort of out of it,” he added.
