On the first day of its release in Hindi, Kantara had a respectable opening weekend, earning Rs 1.27 crore. This is a fantastic beginning for a Kannada-made movie with a regional flavour and a brand-new character for the audience. In Hindi, the beginning is superior to Rocketry (1.25 crore) and Godfather. The beginning is also superior to Vikram’s. Notably, the inclusion of prominent actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Kamal Haasan helped each of these three movies. Kantara, however, does not have a large face.
Taran Adarsh, a film critic and trade analyst, announced Kantara’s opening-day revenue on Twitter (Hindi).

Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep hailed the Kantara crew and Rishabh Shetty in a lengthy post last week for believing in a topic like this. Rishabh received praise from Kiccha for his “fantastic performance” in the film. He also lauded Ajaneesh B. Loknath, the film’s composer, for his wonderful score.
