Russia’s defence ministry said Monday that a salvo of missile strikes it fired on several Ukrainian cities had achieved their aims, after regional officials in Ukraine reported disruptions to energy and water facilities.
“The strikes have achieved their objective. All targets have been hit,” the defence ministry said in a statement after Ukraine said Russia had fired more than 80 missiles early Monday.
